ITS is responsible for all centralized information technology functions and support such as the Service Desk, desktop/laptop, printing, network infrastructure, administrative computing, and telephones. In addition, ITS provides secondary technical support to all academic departments and divisions. All IT related requests should originate at the Service Desk.

WebAdvisor + RISD Alerts!
RISD uses Google Apps for Education for Email, Drive (Docs), Calendar, and Sites. RISD has deemed E-mail the preferred method of contact therefore, it is important that users check RISD E-mail often.
RISD faculty members are assigned 1 GB of personal network storage to store files, photos, etc. RISD’s network storage is secure and backed up every evening. Access to this storage is available from on and off campus. Visit itservices.risd.edu for instructions to access network storage.
WebAdvisor provides faculty access to class rosters, on-line grading, textbook ordering, and student planning. In addition, WebAdvisor is the location where all RISD members (faculty, staff & students) enter and maintain emergency contact information for the purpose of RISD!Alert.
