Yeadon’s Sketchbooks Acquired by CCA

The Canadian Center for Architecture (CCA) in Montréal has acquired the four Prix de Rome sketchbooks completed by Peter Yeadon (Professor, Interior Architecture) in 2000. The four books will be added to the CCA’s substantial archival holdings, which is perhaps the largest collection of architectural works in the world and features “complete works or projects that provide insight into the genesis and materialization of architectural ideas.”

“I’m absolutely thrilled that the CCA will be adding these four sketchbooks to their collection,” says Yeadon, “so that the studies might complement the Rome Prize prints that the CCA collected back in 2001. I was also happy to discover my old notes from RISD reviews at the Cenci, where I served as a guest critic a half dozen times while I was living in Rome, and kind personal notes from the RISD students I met at that time.”
