Krinsky Premiers Film at Sundance

Maya Krinsky (Assistant Director, Center for Arts & Language) and Brown University’s RaMell Ross (Mellon Fellow, Visual Arts Department) premiered the film Hale County This Morning, This Evening at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival last month.

The film, which Ross directed and Krinsky co-wrote, won a Special Jury Prize for Creative Vision. Krinsky and Ross each received MFAs in Photography at RISD, and Krinsky’s work as an English language instructor informs her focus on language and translation in visual practice.
