Kane Exhibits at Splice Festival and Chesterwood

Brian Kane (Critic, Industrial Design) took part in a panel discussion at the Splice Audio Visual Performing Arts Festival 2017 in London, England. His panel discussed, Sampling in AV, and examined the development, use, and abuse of audiovisual sampling. Kane also took apart in a performance and interactive installation, Emergency Broadcast Network “Full Release” Kane performed with fellow RISD graduates Gardner Post and Josh Pearson, who together makeup the Emergency Broadcast Network.

Kane is also featured in a new group exhibition of contemporary art at the Chesterwood historic house site (3 Williamsville Road, Stockbridge, MA). Chesterwood was the home of the noted american sculptor Daniel Chester French, who designed both the Lincoln Memorial statue and the North Bridge Minute Man figure. Kane’s group exhibition is entitled, Out of Site: Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood, and runs from 16th June to 9th October 2017.
