Muzaffar Gives Lecture ‘Boundary Games’

Ijlal Muzaffar (Assistant Professor, History of Art + Visual Culture) recently gave a lecture entitled, Boundary Games: Settling the Refugee, Claiming the Nation, at Beaconhouse National University in Lahore. This lecture examined two refugee housing projects in Karachi proposed by international architects in the 1950s, which sought to create a new image for its client, the military government of Pakistan, as a perpetual custodian of unending change.
