Anderson Lectures at China Academy of Art
Eric Anderson (Associate Professor, History of Art + Visual Culture) participated in The Bauhaus and Modern Design Seminar at the China Academy of Art, Hangzhou on the 14-18 November.
He lectured on Museums and Design Reform in the Nineteenth Century and participated in workshops with scholars from China, Europe, and the United States. The event aimed to evaluate the legacy of modern Western design for contemporary China and to establish a research network to support the recently founded China Design Museum.
