Artist’s Talk: Kara Walker, 11/18/16, 1:30PM


Accomplished artist Walker (RISD MFA 1994, Painting/Printmaking), winner of a MacArthur “genius” fellowship, is best known for her candid investigation of race, gender, sexuality, and violence through silhouetted figures that have appeared in numerous exhibitions worldwide will give an artist’s talk at the RISD Auditorium on Friday, 11/18/16 from 1:30PM.

The RISD Auditorium tickets have all been distributed, however,  a stand-by line will be available on 11/18, along with a live simulcast at the RISD Museum’s Metcalf Auditorium.
