Maly’s DredgeFest Turns Up Award
Tim Maly (Assistant Professor, Industrial Design) and his DredgeFest research team won the American Society of Landscape Architects 2016 Honors Award for Communications.
The DredgeFest Research Collaborative is a roving symposium, field expedition, and speculative design workshop series about the human manipulation of sediments, re-examined as a design practice, held on all four coasts of the Continental United States. The events are an encounter between designers, practitioners, industry experts, government agencies, theorists, and the public at locations including New York City, Louisiana, the Great Lakes, and the University of California, Berkeley.
