Yeadon Animation Shown at the Guggenheim

Peter Yeadon (Professor, Interior Architecture) was invited to present his work at the Guggenheim Museum in June. His digital animation was shown at Scholars Day at the Guggenheim, where scholars from around the world had gathered to discuss the work of László Moholy-Nagy (1895–1946). Yeadon was quoted as saying “I was so happy that the KRS was shown at the Guggenheim on my birthday……..It was something to celebrate.”

The animation, titled Kinetic-Reconstructive System is a three-dimensional digital representation of the 1928 Kinetic-Constructive System by Moholy-Nagy and Stefan Sebök that Yeadon had previously completed in 2006. The work has since been published and shown in several exhibitions including at the the Bauhaus Archive / Museum of Design (Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung) in Berlin, the Hungarian National Museum (Magyar Nemzeti Muzeum) in Budapest
