Woznicka Finalist for Waterhouse Natural Science Prize 2016

Agnieszka Woznicka (Associate Professor, Film, Animation + Video) is a finalist for the Waterhouse Natural Science Prize 2016. Her animation Koronka will form part of the finalists exhibition, which will be held at the South Australian Museum (North Terrace, Adelaide) from the 10th June to the 31st July 2016.

The Waterhouse Prize commemorates the birth of the South Australian Museum’s first curator, Frederick George Waterhouse (1815-1898). The prize is an opportunity for artists to investigate the world around them and present their perspectives on natural science. It encourages artists to make a statement about the scientific issues facing our planet and offers a valuable platform for them to contribute to the environmental debate.
