Korea Arts Foundation of America Seeks Applications for 2016 KAFA Prize

What: A single prize of $10,000 will be awarded to support the work of an artist of Korean ancestry working in any visual medium.

When: Applications are due March 31, 2016.

How much: In addition to the $10,000 cash prize, the selected recipient’s artwork will be exhibited in the Los Angeles area. The first sum ($5,000) will be awarded upon selection, and the remaining ($5,000) will be awarded at the exhibition opening the following year in Los Angeles, California.

National Book Foundation Seeks Nominations for Innovations in Reading Prize

What: An award of $10,000 will recognize an individual or institution that has developed a particularly innovative approach to sparking and sustaining a lifelong love of reading.

When: Applications are due February 29, 2016, the winner will be announced on May 2, 2016.

How much: The winner will receive $10,000 and be featured prominently on the foundation’s website and in other digital publicity.

Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts Invites Applications

What: With the goal of promoting dialogue, raising awareness, and developing new and broader audiences, the foundation will award grants of up to $30,000 to help organizations with the production and presentation of significant programs about architecture and the designed environment.

When: Application deadline is February 25th, 2016, grant decision notification will be in July 2016.

How much: Grants of up to $30,000. These grants assist organizations with the production-related expenses that are necessary to take a project from conceptualization to realization and public presentation.
