Boston Intercultural Skills Conference

Boston Intercultural Skills Conference (BISC), 2/12, at Boston College

The Boston Intercultural Skills Conference (BISC), scheduled to take place at Boston College on February 12, 2016, is an exciting new event designed for faculty and staff interested in learning best practices for promoting intercultural skills development in education abroad. The conference will feature a keynote address by Dr. Steve Duke, Assistant Vice President for Global Strategy and International Initiatives at the University of Nebraska and author of Preparing to Study Abroad: Learning to Cross Cultures, and a series of breakout sessions led by faculty from Boston College and neighboring institutions.

More details, including the location, times, and a conference schedule, are located on BC’s OIP website. Registration fees have been kept low, with a significant subsidy by BC: $45 for staff/faculty and $20 for graduate students. It only takes a minute to register online, through the OIP site, and we recommend that you do so as soon as possible to make sure that you have a spot.

We look forward to seeing you in February.
