In Conversation: Martin Boyce and Russell Ferguson

The RISD Museum presents artist Martin Boyce in conversation with curator and art historian Russell Ferguson, on the occasion of Boyce’s first solo exhibition at an American museum, “Martin Boyce: When Now is Night.”

Ferguson is a professor of art at the University of California, Los Angeles, and adjunct curator at the university’s Hammer Museum. He frequently writes about contemporary artists, and authored an essay on Boyce’s work in the exhibition’s catalogue.

The opening reception for “Martin Boyce: When Now is Night” immediately follows this program.

“Martin Boyce: When Now is Night” is on view at the RISD Museum from October 2, 2015 to January 31, 2016.
