ID Graduate Students win 3rd place at Eyewear Design Contest

Daniel Morgan, Graduate Industrial Design student and classmates collaborators Rodrigo Guadarrama, Yuxin Han, and Mina Jafarpoor won third place at the International Eyewear Design Contest with MAGO-Magnetic Frames. “His concept MAGO impressed the jury with its charming pragmatism: an innovative magnetic hinge, anchored in both the front and in the temples, making the glasses almost unbreakable.”

This project was part of the required studio course under the umbrella of commercial design led by instructors Dr. Claudia B. Rebola (Associate Professor, Industrial Design) and Tim Maly (Lecturer, Industrial Design).
