She Ji first Call for Papers

What: The first call for Papers for She Ji. The Journal of Design, Economics, and Innovation. She Ji is a new, peer reviewed , trans-disciplinary design journal published by Elsevier in cooperation with Tongji Unversity press.

When: The first issue will appear in September 2015.
Upcoming Opportunities:

Rock On Foundation Accepting Applications for New Hampshire Arts and Athletics Projects

What: The Rock On Foundation works to increase community artistic and athletic opportunities in New Hampshire. Recently funded projects include municipal public basketball court renovations; a community music school financial aid program; an afterschool art program; a life skills basketball camp for underprivileged youth; and a Police Activities League.

When: Deadlines for applications are March 31, 2015 and September 30, 2015. Grant applications are reviewed on a semi-annual basis.

How Much: Grant requests should not exceed $5,000.

D. Kim Foundation Invites Applications for Fellowships/Grants for Historical Research of Science, Technology in East Asia

What: Fellowships and grants to graduate students and young scholars who are working in the history of science and technology in East Asia from the beginning of the twentieth century.

Comparative studies of East Asia and the West as well as studies in related fields (mathematics, medicine, and public health) are also welcome. English is the official language of the foundation.

When: The deadline for the receipt of fellowship applications and grant applications is December 1, 2015.

How Much: Fellowships in the range of $25,000 to $55,000, and Grants up to $5,000.
