Work by Hirst included in Venice group exhibition

Work by Leslie Hirst (Associate Professor Foundation Studies) is included in an exhibition of masks, photos, videos, texts and documents in memory of Emily Harvey.

The Emily Harvey Foundation has been operating in Venice since 2004, and presents this exhibition in memory of its founder. Venetian Masks were of particular interest to Harvey, and the curator of this exhibition has developed a show on this theme, inviting friends and past guests to create a mask or mask-related work for this occasion.

The exhibition opens in Venice, Italy and runs from 18 – 24 October 2014. Entitled PERSONAE, the exhibition is curated by Berty Skuber. Performances by Philip Corner and Phoebe Neville will take place during the opening reception, beginning at 7pm on 18 October.

Located at Archivio Emily Harvey – San Polo 387, 1-30125 Venezia
