Gizycki and Taborska published

An essay by Marcin Gizycki (Senior Lecturer, HAVC) and Agnieszka Taborska’s (Senior Lecturer, HAVC), ‘Suppressed Extravagances: Surrealist Echoes in Polish Film, Literature and Art,’ has appeared in the book accompanying the exhibition ‘Conscious Hallucinations: Filmic Surrealism’ that opened on June 25 at the Deutsches Filmmuseum in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Giżycki’s essay ‘Avant-Garde and Thaw: Experimentation in Polish Cinema of the 1950s and 1960s’ has been published in the book The Struggle for Form: Perspectives on Polish Avant-Garde Film 1916-1989 (Kamila Kuc & Michael O’Pray, eds., London & New York: Wallflower Press, 2014).
