Project Thrive call for mentors
The Office of Intercultural Student Engagement invites faculty, staff and curators to volunteer to serve as a mentor in Project Thrive, our first-year student mentoring program. Project Thrive assists incoming, first-year students with their transition to college in regards to their academic, social and cultural success at RISD. The program has experienced explosive growth in its three short years, having served 50 students last year. The magic of our mentoring program relies on our amazing mentors. For more information on the time commitment and what it means to be a mentor, please visit our website or contact Chris Lauth, Assistant Director of Diversity Programs at (email@example.com). Applying to be a mentor is as simple as completing an online application. The deadline to apply for full consideration in this year’s 2014-15 incoming cohort, is July 11, 2014.
