Painting Department External Review

The Painting Department External Review Committee will be on campus, November 4 through November 6.

The committee is scheduled to meet with students and faculty of the Painting Department along with a number of members of the RISD community and Brown who interact with the Painting Department. While here, the committee will review exhibitions, visit classrooms and observe critiques. A report on their findings will be submitted one month from the visit.

Committee members include the chair, Michael Aurbach, Professor of Art, Vanderbilt University; Nadia Ayari, artist and RISD alum; Derrick Buish, Associate Professor of Art, University of Wisconsin-Madison; and Susanna Coffey, artist.
