Upcoming Funding Opportunities:

Digital Resources Program:  intended to create incentives for historians of art and architecture, as well as archivists and librarians who support their work, to convert important existing information resources to digital form.
Application deadlines: April 1 and October 1

History of Art Grant Program: awarded for activities that permit art historians to share their expertise through international exchanges, professional meetings, conferences, and other professional events.
Application deadline: October 1

NEH Summer Stipends: support individuals pursuing advanced research that is of value to humanities scholars, general audiences, or both.
Deadline: September 26

Wolf Foundation Prizes in the Sciences and Arts: awards prizes to outstanding scientists and artists for achievements in the interest of mankind and friendly relations among peoples. Art prizes in architecture, music, painting and sculpture rotate annually. For 2013, nominations will be accepted for architecture.
Deadline: October 1

Design Innovation Grant: an annual $6,000 grant to Rhode Island designers for design ideas that are highly creative and show potential for innovation and/or implementation.
Deadline: October 1

RI Council for the Humanities Mini-Grants: up to $2,000 on a monthly basis for humanities projects that serve the public.
Deadline: the 1st of each month

New England Foundation for the Arts Presenter Travel Fund: enhances the performing arts by supporting programming and curatorial staff’s travel costs associated with research to broaden the experience and knowledge of New England arts programmers.
Deadline: at minimum one month prior to the departure date of the proposed trip

Dedalus Foundation: institutional grants to support educational programs, exhibitions, and publications by museums, universities, art schools and other educational institutions.
Deadline: October 15
