Yeadon Completes Peer Review

Peter Yeadon (Associate Professor, Interior Architecture) participated in the peer-review committee that reviewed papers for the upcoming Association for Computer-Aided Design in Architecture (ACADIA) 2013 International Conference
. ACADIA is an international network of digital design researchers and professionals. The association supports critical investigations into the role of computation in architecture, planning, and building science, while encouraging innovation in design creativity, sustainability, and education.

This year’s ACADIA conference is titled ADAPTIVE ARCHITECTURE. It will include a focus on computational design of environmentally responsive, intelligent, interactive, and reconfigurable architecture. Creators and researchers were encouraged to make submissions, and a special program for student submissions was created to accommodate research and creation work at graduate and undergraduate levels.
