What: Grants are available to USA non-profits, government agencies, universities, and others for projects that help preserve and make accessible to the public a variety of humanities collections including manuscripts, books, photographs, sound recordings, moving images, archeological and ethnographic artifacts and more.
When: July, 18, 2013
How Much: Implementation projects: Up to $350,000; Foundation projects: up to $40,000.
The Ideas That Matter Grant Program
What: Grants to support USA and Canadian designers who are working to produce effective communication materials that support the mission of a non-profit organization and that inspire people to take action.
When: July, 19, 2013
How Much: $5,000-$50,000.
Doris Duke Building Demand for the Arts Grants
What: Grants to artists and arts organizations working together to increase demand for and interest in jazz, theater and contemporary dance.
When: August 2, 2013
How Much: Exploration grants in the amounts of $20,000 or $40,000.
Rhode Island Council for the Humanities
RICH grants support various phases of public humanities projects (from research and development to production) and many kinds of public humanities projects (from live discussion and presentation programs to broadcast media programs).
