Yeadon Wins Tri-State Open Science Challenge Prize

Peter Yeadon (Associate Professor, Interior Architecture) has been awarded the DTRA Prize, sponsored by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. The prize is one of three research awards that any Tri-State resident (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) could apply for through the Open Science Challenge, including past, current and future scientists, science club members, science competitors, and citizen scientists. Winners of the Salk, Feynman, and DTRA prizes receive some project funding and supplies, mentorship from scientists, and the use of a biotech lab for one year. The DTRA Prize is for a research project related to chemical or biological defense.
