Hansy Better Barraza: Lecture: "Bachelors, Brides and Open-Source Machines"
Hansy Better Barraza (Associate Professor, Architecture) , was among the panelists from some of the best Architecture schools in the country, who spoke at the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture on March 2, 2012. The panelists debated “the value of alternative ways in which technology could be learned, accessed, and deployed as a means to expand the impact of our discipline” and the challenge of using our relationship to machines to break traditional boundaries.
Better also spoke at Boston nerdnite on February 27. The title of her talk “Tales from the Hammock” refers to the enormous hammock that Better and her collaborators placed on the Rose Kennedy Greenway in 2010. Click here to read more about the Hammock project.
