John Dunnigan speaks at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

John Dunnigan (Professor, Furniture Design) and artist Gord Peteran will explore how the history of American furniture design serves as inspiration for contemporary artists and craftsmen at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on January 22. Peter M. Kenny, Ruth Bigelow Wriston Curator of American Decorative Arts, and Administrator of The American Wing, will serve as moderator.

The panel is part of Sunday at the Met—The Elements of Style: The Art of Fine Furniture–Making in America Then and Now.
