Jacek Mrowczyk and the International Design Conference in Katowice
Jacek Mrowczyk (Critic, Graphic Design) is curating the third International Design Conference in Katowice, Poland entitled Research in graphic design, graphic design in research. The Conference will take place January 12-13, 2012. The theme will be the importance of scientific research for graphic design, the influence of graphic design over the acquisition of knowledge resulting from research, and the importance of co-operation between scientists and graphic designers for the development of a knowledge-based society. The key-note speakers will be: Alecos Papadatos, Douwe Draaisma, Gerad Unger, Jan Kubasiewicz, Joachim Sauter, Jorge Frascara, Lucienne Roberts.
