Ellen Driscoll launches "Distant Mirrors"
Using thousands of recycled water and milk bottles, Ellen Driscoll (Professor and Head of Sculpture) has created an “archipelago of floating forms” to transform a section of the Providence River. The piece will be launched/unveiled on the South Water Street bridge on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 5:30pm. The installation reflects on Rhode Island’s past and present in light of over-consumption and profiteering. Click here to read more about this work.
