Brown/RISD Scholarship of Teaching and Learning lectures and workshops

Would you like to join a yearlong discussion group examining the basic principles of your teaching with an introduction to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning?  Part-time and full –time members meet together to attend the 5 Brown University’s Harriet W. Sheridan Center for Teaching and Learning lectures followed by 5 RISD workshops focused on art and design issues. A teaching micro-session and an individualized and observed teaching hour are components. Nearly 40 RISD faculty, librarians and curators have participated in the past.  There are 3 fall lectures/workshops, 1 lecture/workshop in Wintersession and 1 lecture/workshop in the spring.

If you’d like to attend, email  your name, department and contact information to Nancy Friese (Professor, TLAD) She will email you the readings and assignments.
