Lisa Young’s (Critic, Photography) “Free Fall: The Life and Times of Bud ‘Crosshairs’ MacGinitie” will be presented at The Library Company, Philadelphia, PA, as part of Looking Down to See Up: Parachutes, Parafiction and the Cold War Spiritual Exercise, a screening and panel for a joint session of the Philadelphia Area Center for History of Science and the Temple University Center for Humanities Cinema and Media Seminar. The video, developed in collaboration with D. Graham Burnett, Professor of History, Princeton University, explores intersections between history, parafiction, spoken word narrative and visual representation.
