Agnieszka Taborska, a whale, a nun, and a Surrealist summer

A collection of short stories “A Whale, or the Objective Chance” by Agnieszka Taborska (Senior Lecturer, History of Visual Art and Culture) was published in Warsaw this June. Taborska curated From Melies to Fleischer. Film Inspirations of the Surrealists for the 3rd International Animated Film Festival in Poznan. Also in July, her essay The Day Dreams of Wojciech J. Has  was published in the book History of Sin: Surrealism in Polish Cinema. Taborska will participate in the annual literary festival in Aubrac, France where her surrealist book on a narcoleptic nun The Dreaming Life of Leonora de la Cruz will be discussed along with other literary mystifications.
