Henry Horenstein featured at The First Annual Guatemala Photo Festival

This summer, Professor of Photography Henry Horenstein was part of The First Annual Guatemala Photo Festival, otherwise known as El Festival GuatePhoto. This inaugural festival is being held from July 6-31st, at the Carlos Merida Museum of Modern Art in Guatemala City.

The exhibition in which he is featured is called “Enamored”, which is described as “ …a visual reflection about theĀ force within women which binds our strength with our passion, intelligence with our body and healing power through belief; the internal energy that makes us courageous and victorious, without retaliation. On the contrary, it is a force, inspired by love, that is revealed in our silence.” (from El Festival GuatePhoto website)

Horenstein also gave a public lecture, and headed a workshop.
