Pascale Rihouet's Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation grant

Pascale Rihouet  (Lecturer, History of Art and Visual Culture) has been awarded a grant from the Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation to conduct research in Venice this summer. She will be looking at how Venetian Renaissance glass objects and glass were represented by fifteenth and sixteenth-century painters.  The research is part of Rihouet’s work in progress which deals with the role of glass design in actively shaping the table etiquette of Renaissance Italy.
