Scanlan Presents at Arts and Crafts Conference

Suzanne Scanlan (Lecturer, History of Art + Visual Culture) presented a paper entitled, But Those Petticoats! Enterprising Women in Providence and the Rhode Island School of Design, at a conference called Influences and Expressions: The Arts and Crafts Movement in Providence, Newport and Environs in September.

Initial funding for her research was provided by the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities through the National Endowment for the Humanities.
