Current Research Opportunities:
What: Grants over one to three years will be awarded to nonprofit organizations for the planning and implementation of programs or projects that engage U.S.-based Muslim and non-Muslim populations in arts- and culture-based experiences that advance inter-cultural relationships and understanding.
When: Letter of Intent due: September 8, 2017; Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal by December 1, 2017.
How much: Award amounts range from $25,000 to $300,000.
What: The foundation is inviting grant applications from individuals for projects focused on architecture and the designed environment that also contribute to their creative, intellectual, and professional growth at a crucial or potentially transformative stage of their careers.
When: Letter of Intent due: no later than September 15, 2017.
How much: Research and Development Grants: Grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded to assist individuals with seed money for research-related expenses. Production and Presentation Grants: Grants of up to $20,000 will be awarded to assist individuals with the production-related expenses necessary to take a project from conceptualization to realization and public presentation.
What: The Samuel H. Kress Foundation supports projects that illuminate European works of art and architecture from antiquity to the early 19th century. As part of that mission, the foundation’s Conservation Grants Program provides support to nonprofit organizations for the professional practice of art conservation.
When: Deadline is October 1, 2017.
How much: Past award amounts have ranged from $15,000 to $25,000 (Years 2015-2016).
