Current Research Opportunities:
What: Need some funding? Have a crazy brilliant idea that needs funding? The Awesome Foundation awards $1,000 grants every month. It couldn’t be simpler. Your idea is yours alone. They don’t want a stake in it. They just want to help you make it happen.
When: Awarded monthly. Applications are rolling.
How Much: $1,000 grants, with no strings attached.
What: Labverde was created to strengthen the limits of art through a broad array of experiences, knowledge sets and cultural perspectives involving art, science and nature. The program main goal is to promote artistic creation through a constructive debate about environmental issues generated by both theory and life experiences in the Amazon rainforest. Ten days sharing knowledge and practices in an intensive schedule of seminars, workshops, presentations, forest guided tours and boat trips will enhance participants’ creativity, having nature as a common ground.
When: International Deadline: January 31, 2017
How much: Labverde will select three artists to participate in the program free of cost. Participants from emerging countries that have been investigating the intersection between art and nature will be prioritized.
What: Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundations Emergency Assistance Program is intended to provide interim financial assistance to qualified artists whose needs are the result of an unforeseen, catastrophic incident, and who lack the resources to meet that situation. Each grant is given as one-time assistance for a specific emergency, examples of which are fire, flood, or emergency medical need.
When: Applications are rolling.
How much: The maximum amount of this grant is $15,000; an award of $5,000 is typical.
