Current Research Opportunities:

Variety the Children’s Charity of New York Invites LOIs for Youth Art Programs

What: Grants will be awarded for arts-related programs that have a transformative impact on the lives of children in underserved communities in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

When: Letters of inquiry are due November 21, 2016.

How much: Grants of up to $20,000.

Rauschenberg Foundation Accepting Applications for Artist as Activist Fellowship

What: Grants will be awarded to artists or artist collaboratives in support of an ambitious creative work that tackles the theme of racial justice, with a particular focus on mass incarceration.

When: Deadline to submit an online application is December 5, 2016.

How much: Grants of up to $100,000 over two years.

Bruner Foundation Accepting Submissions for Award for Urban Excellence

What: The award recognizes transformative urban places distinguished by their economic and social contribution to America’s cities.

When: Submissions must be received by December 8, 2016.

How much: Cash awards of up to $50,000.
