Current Research Opportunities:

 

RRF Accepting Applications for Projects to Improve the Lives of Older Americans

What: Grants will be awarded to support local and national projects aimed at improving the quality of life for older Americans.

When: RRF will accept Letters of Intent until December 1, 2016. Full proposals must be received no later than February 1, 2017.

How much: Responsive Grants awards for 2015 ranged between $10,000 to $190,000.

 

Getty Conservation Institute Invites Applications for Conservation Guest Scholar Program

What: The program provides an opportunity for professionals to pursue scholarly research in an interdisciplinary manner across traditional boundaries in areas of interest to the international conservation community.

When: Application deadline is November 1, 2016.

How much: Conservation Guest Scholars are in residence at the Getty Center for three or six consecutive months between late September and June and will receive a monthly stipend of $3,500, prorated to the actual dates of residency. In addition to the stipend, the program also provides a workstation at the Conservation Institute, research assistance, airfare to Los Angeles, an apartment in the Getty scholar housing complex, and health benefits.

 

Filmmakers From Underrepresented Communities Invited to Apply for Tribeca All Access

What: Five narrative filmmakers and five documentary filmmakers will each receive a grant toward the development, production, post-production, or marketing of their film project.

When: Application deadline is November 6, 2016.

How much: Projects of any genre and/or budget range are eligible for a grant.

 

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Accepting Applications for Artist Fellowships

What: One-year fellowships will be awarded to support the work of individuals in the categories of crafts, drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, or sculpture; film/video; new/emerging media; and art history.

*Please note: To be eligible applicants must be a current legal resident of Virginia and have been so for at least twenty-four consecutive months prior to the application deadline.

When: Application deadline is November 4, 2016.

How much: Fellowships of up to $8,000
