Studio Luz wins American Architecture Award
The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies are pleased to announce that the Meyer Residence has received The American Architecture Award for 2015.
The work, by Hansy Better Barraza’s (Associate Professor, Architecture) Studio Luz Architects, will be exhibited at the Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies in Chicago in December. After Chicago, the exhibition travels to Izmir Turkey and then to our Museum in Athens, Greece.
The American Architectural Awards are the highest and most prestigious distinguished building awards program that honor new and cutting-edge design in the United States. This annual program, organized by both institutions, also promotes American architecture and design to our public audience globally.
