In Response: Repetition and Difference
Sunday, May 10, 2015
6:30pm – 9:00pm
Scheuer Auditorium

Columbia University School of the Arts MFA candidates and recent alumni present new video, sound, performance, and installation-based artworks in response to the objects, artists, and historical context of the exhibition Repetition and Difference. The exhibition brings together objects made in multiples or series — contemporary art and works from the Museum’s historical collection — in order to explore how artists embed crucial differences within the process of iteration.

Participating Artists: Christina Houle, Bora Kim, Jonah Patrick King, Yujin Lee & Nicole Maloof, Talia Link, Meta Meta Meta (Guy Ben-Ari & Leah Wolff (Critic, Printmaking)), Ilaria Ortensi, Alex Strada, Xu Wang, and Nat Ward.
