Taborska on dreams in art and literature

Agnieszka Taborska (Senior Lecturer, HAVC), art historian and writer, and Selena Kimball (Sculpture, 97), Brooklyn based artist and Assistant Professor at Parsons, the New School for Design, participated in a conference and art festival devoted to the subject of dreams in art and literature. The event took place in June 12-15 in Lubostron, Poland. Taborska gave a paper on the role of dreams in the art of the Surrealists as well as in her fiction. Kimball opened an exhibition of her collages illustrating Taborska’s book, “The Unfinished Life of Phoebe Hicks.”
