The Professional Development Grant Committee urges all full-time faculty, part-time faculty who have completed two years of service, librarians and museum curators to submit applications for research and creative projects to be undertaken between January 1 and June 30, 2014. The deadline for complete proposals is 11:59pm Wednesday, November 6, 2013.
During the past year the Professional Development Fund has provided support for Suzanne Scanlan’s research in Italy for her book on 15th century women’s devotional practice and charitable work, Catherine Andreozzi’s 3D printed apparel to be exhibited in the 3-D Print Show which will travel to London, Paris and NY, Jocelyn Prince’s video documentation of her hot glass performances, and a wide spectrum of other creative and scholarly projects. Since its inception, the Professional Development Fund has granted more than $1,827,000 in release time, research, travel, and creative projects. Awards usually range from $1500 – $5000, with an average of $2253.

You will have access to the site until the deadline passes. After the deadline, only the members of the Professional Development Fund Grant Committee will have access to your site.
You are welcome to review past proposals and project reports. You may also ask the committee’s secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org) for proposal and budget review no later than 3 working days before the deadline so that you may receive recommendations for revisions that will strengthen your proposal. You may also ask for help in uploading your files to your Google site.
