Bojagi: Cloth, Color & Beyond
The Korea Society presents an exhibition, gallery talk and Wedding Bojagi Workshop with Chungie Lee (Critic, Textiles).
Korean wrapping cloths, or Bojagi, were once commonly employed in everyday life for carrying, covering and storing objects. More recently, Bojagi have become one of the most widely recognized and appreciated of traditional Korean textile arts. Lee’s art integrates traditional Bojagi motifs into innovative designs with original color compositions.
