lynda.com Online Courses Available to the RISD Community

Through the collaborative efforts of Human Resources, Academic Affairs and the Career Center, RISD is now providing unlimited access to lynda.com for all active students, faculty and staff. lynda.com is an online library of courses on software tools and skills. To learn more, we suggest that you watch the introductory movie about the service, and watch “How to use lynda.com.”

Here are just a few of the benefits to using lynda.com:

Courses include a wide variety of technology and disciplines
Up-to-date content helps to keep your skills current
New courses are added every week
Access to instructors’ exercise files let you follow along as you watch tutorials
Closed captioning and searchable, time coded transcripts for increased comprehension

Please visit the RISD Intranet to view RISD lyndaCampus profile creation instructions. You’ll have to be on the RISD campus for your initial registration, however after initial registration you will have access to lynda.com from anywhere you have an internet connection.

If you are an existing lynda.com member, you can use your current lynda.com username and password to integrate your current account with a RISD campus lynda.com profile. We are happy to offer this amazing tool to the RISD community!
