Matthew Landrus interviewed in Time and NPR

Matthew Landrus (Lecturer, History of Art + Visual Culture) is one of the experts interviewed by TIME on recent findings on a long-known copy of the Mona Lisa held in the Prado’s collection. ┬áResearchers recently used ┬áinfrared technology to look more closely at the painting and have concluded that the work was likely painted by one of DaVinci’s students at the same time he was completing the Mona Lisa.
