NPR’s “Academic Minute” featured a story on March 15, 2011 featured an interview with Mikyoung Kim (Professor, Landscape Architecture) on the importance of imagination in children and how playground designers can foster imaginative play. Mikyoung Kim worked with six Landscape Architecture students who traveled this Wintersession to Praiano, Italy on a traveling internship. The students worked on a design build project at the Carol LeWitt Property on the Amalfi coast.
